Temptations a plenty, as are political views.
Sometimes we forget our reasons for our plights,
Too many forgotten “Thank Yous” and long lonely nights.

Why in life the suffering and pain?
Why are we tempted to shame?
Even those who make enough, they even catch
the flack and guff?

From the elder on a corner bench, to the family in financial pinch
to the child that cries hungry at night;
the teen who knows no other way, but to sling dope to make his way.

Our goal is to make a better option, for those who see no light,
to end the fruitless plight. We open our hearts and our minds to
help to put an end to impoverished and lack of wealth.
